Representing the values
The young women from Church that participate in the program
Table set with some of the little presents for the girls
YW theme

As part of being working with the Young Women at Church, we have to plan a program that is called New Beginnings, which is the kick off meeting for the activities the girls will have along the year. There is a representation made of the values of the theme of the YW and then a special musical number, it was a very special and spiritual program that we could enjoy!

Baby's first gift

What a small pair of socks!
A friend of ours gave us our first present for our unborn child! A pair of white socks - white because we don't know if it is going to be a boy or girl. We were so happy to get them we hung them up on the wall! Our baby is going to love them.

Why did we go to Downtown Phoenix today....

We are very grateful and very very happy (specially me) that we want to share with you that we had our BIG interview with the immigration office this morning 012610, so that's the reason we went downtown, we thought it will be very complicated or so but no, we waited for almost 1 hour but only took us less than 15 mins I think around 10, to complete our interview and it is approved, so I will be getting everything soon!!! It wasn't that much time going through all the process it is just a headache to fill out all the paperwork, etc...

We did it!!!!!! Team work!!! Thank you to Alan Sr. and Alan Jr. as well for the help we received from them
Here it is Tom celebrating!!! Can you tell how excited he was that was willing to make some cart wheels!!

We are pregnant - 011210

Yay!!! We can't wait anymore.....We are so HAPPY to announce to all of you that we will be having a new member of the Culwell family, our life miracle, we we're not expecting a baby right now but we surely have been very blessed with a little angel in our home.
The only thing is that the grandchildren won't be an even number anymore, even though we tried so hard to have twins, they will be odd for now.
We had an appointment with the doctor this morning to check the baby's condition and looks great and his/her (don't know yet) heart was beating wonderfully, by the end of this week we will be 8 weeks.

Homemade wheat bread - 011010

Yay! finally we got everything we needed for our delicious homemade wheat bread!! We ate it almost all...with the excitement we forgot to take the whole pictures of the 2 beautiful loaves!!! But here we have some pictures cleaning the wheat and making the flour with our great wheat miller and then our efficient and powerful mixer that makes everything easier!!!

Wise men ring -010710

Here we go again, this is a Mexican celebration, after the Christmas and New Year's Holidays, we wait for the Wise Men the morning of January 6th, because they leave some little things for children, but besides this, we have to eat what is called the Wise men ring (Rosca de Reyes) where everybody gets a slice with hot chocolate! We had some neighbors over to our apartment for a gathering!!
