Our little Joel - 2 months

Can't believe how time flies! Our little Joel  is getting bigger and looks  happier every day, now he smiles more and more and we enjoy every moment around him to discover what's new. He's pretty good sleeping at night (5-6 hours) and wakes up to eat and go back to sleep for a couple more hours, we were surprise that last Sunday he slept over 7 hours, we can't said the same about his naps though the day they are very short =D


He had his Doctor visit, not fun at all, little Joel got 5 shots, he cried a little bit but after that he was happy again. Joel weighted 14 lbs 14 oz on October 20th so by now he should be over 15lbs, his height is 24.5 inches.

We were going to save the "I'm with cupid" shirt for Valentines, but it probably won't fit him by then.

Having Joel in our family has been such a great blessing!  We are able to show him how much we love him every moment of the day, and he is growing up and changing so fast!  What a difference he has made in our lives!  We are so excited to help him learn and grow, and to see what he is able to become.

Happy First month!

We have been enjoying having our little man home, we can't believe how fast time flies, we have had a month where there have been many adjustments, getting to know what a new baby needs/wants and what new parents have to do, to help him have a pleasant time as he grows.He had his monthly Doctor's visit and we found out that Joel went from 7lbs 6oz to 10lbs 10oz in a month! He definitely is growing!!!!!!!

Things that baby Joel have been doing is trying to crawl if he is on his tummy and if we are helping him to burp he stands as straight as he can, never thought a newborn could do some things that I expect a baby with 4 or more months would do....

These are Joel's third week pictures, by his second week his weight was 7.14 oz and we measured him and was 23 inches, so by now he should be bigger!
