Camel farm

One of the things we found out we could do is to go to the Camel Farm.  We planned to go last November but due to our little girl's arrival and lots of other Church activities we had to postpone it, so finally we made it last weekend, even though we just stayed there for a short time, we enjoyed it, especially Joel who was excitedly watching all the animals and even feeding them, Diana didn't know what was going on so she just hung out with grandma in the shade.

If you look closely at the above picture you will notice Joel has his mouth wide open as he is trying to show the donkey how to eat the food.  He often holds his mouth wide open when he is trying to get someone to put something in his/her mouth.

Mission accomplished.  This was Joel's first time getting up close to any animals beside cats and dogs.  We all had a great time and will probably go back next year so Diana will have the same experience :)

Diana's four months part II

Trying to catch up with some more pictures of little Diana's latest days, as you can see, she is getting bigger, more baby fat, yay!!! She has been more active playing or exercising, holding more things and playing with them

Love to see sleeping, she enjoys that special time. When we look at her in this pictures, she resembles Joel when he was her age, no doubt they are siblings.

Corn on the cob

WE know that Joel loves corn on the cob, but these has been hilarious, these past months we have been blessed to get free spinach, tons of lettuce, coli flower, broccoli, carrots, and corn, we love to be here and be able to get free vegetables, that we have even share with some neighbors because has been a lot for us. On Thursday night we got a groceries bag full with corn, next morning we wanted to cook/boil some but when Joel went to the kitchen and saw the bag, he grabbed one and run away with it, because he knew we will take it away from him, he was hiding and eating it, I thought he will stop doing it, but he kept doing it, so I took it from him, and this is what happened with that uncooked corn, nothing impossible for our big boy.

After the corn was boiled, we gave him one to enjoy it, but now we know for sure that he loves corn.

Things that Joel likes to do....

These pictures have been taken within the last month, the weather has changed now, and its getting hotter, so I better hurry up posting these pictures before spring and summer gets here!!! We have been doing the same things every day, going to the park, going for a walk around the complex, finger painting, reading, watching blues clues or leap frog, and one of the favorite things to do for Joel is playing with his cars, I can believe how much he likes cars, that even if we are walking or at the park, he just stops doing what he is doing to look at the cars that are driving by, and he still loves to push everything with wheels, strollers, shopping carts and wheelchairs, bikes, etc...but these last ones we don't let him do it....

Diana's four months

Here are some more pictures of our little princess, time definitely is flying and we are enjoying Diana a lot, we are so bless to have her in our family, she is a cute little girl, not as heavy as Joel used to be, she is sleeping more than him and our little talker loves to be around people and get all the attention she can, we love her so much and I think she knows it.
We have her Doctor appointment and she is in her 70 percentile, (Joel has been always 90) so we are happy to know that as a girl she won't be as big as him, her weight is 15.14 lbs (what Joel used to have at her 2nd month) her height is 25 inches, so she is doing fine and a growing healthy baby. She can sit with some support and she likes to stand as well, the Doctor said she was ready for solids, couldn't believe that, that fast??????? I have been trying some banana but she doesn't seem interested probably she wants to try some veggies instead, I will have to try that, but for now she is happy breastfeeding.
