6 months baby belly

Just wanting to update how Tom, baby Joel and me look at our 6 months. Baby Joel is kicking more and more which is good because that means that he is very active growing, we'll see what happens when he gets bigger and doesn't have that much space as he has now.  We can't believe that in couple months we will be counting down to the due date!

High School graduation

Today we had an invitation to a High School graduation, four YM and YW from our ward will be graduating, and after that they offered a party to celebrate them, so we didn't want to miss it either and we went!

Happy Anniversary!!

We are happy to say that we just celebrated our 1st anniversary last Saturday May 15th. We had many plans for that special day, but didn't work for this time so we postponed them a little bit, so the best thing we did was to go that morning  to Mesa to the Temple and afterward we had a wonderful lunch.

Last day of Seminary!!

The principal greeting students in their last day of seminary classes, Friday May 14.

The students had breakfast and also some free time to write in their yearbooks
The Seniors taking their last picture together

The principal and two of the three seminary teachers (Shirley and Donnie)

Hurray!!! We can't believe we made it (I included myself because I went with Tom every morning), it was a great year, if somebody thought that after waking up for 4 (four) years going to Seminary at 6am was over after all, that's not true, we just had that living experience that we can be assigned or called to go back again, we enjoyed those early mornings being the first ones at Church, where we had to be by 5.30am to open the building, and Tom help the teachers if they needed something for their classes besides welcoming the students and making sure everything was in order.

Beautiful tulips!!!!

Got some beautiful tulips as a present for the mom to be!!!!!!!!

Mutual - YW CPR class

Giving some instructions
Showing how to do it

The same Wednesday I came back from Mx , Tom was asked to give a CPR class so the YW going to Girls Camp got the certification required.

Tampico-Last night

My last night in Tampico was kind of busy, I visited with some good friends from my old job there, and had a good  time with them. Sonia & Rafael.
Later, I went to the Reynoso's house because Pres Reynoso was celebrating his B-day, so his mom, sister and my mom where doing some of the preparations for dinner.
His wife (Micaela) and his sister (Carmen) were in charge of the BBQ with Pedro, that's what Pres Reynoso usually do, but because it was his big day, nobody let him do that.
Here are some friends and family celebrating his 20's!!

This is how the "Carne asada" typical from Tampico looks like, also the there were "frijoles charros"  that don't appear on the picture.

Here Pres Reynoso and wife, ready to blow the candle!!

Getting the "flautas" ready for dinner

With my dear mom
Some of the decorations left, that we had on the tables

I had another Baby Shower the Saturday before I left, with some of my mom's and my friends, it was really hard to get them all together, but they wanted to see how baby Joel was growing. Something funny was that Tom told me on the phone when I was telling him I  had some baby showers, he said to me, hope you enjoyed your last parties because later, all the parties will be for the kids, and I told him, well I haven't got anything that I can wear.....everything is too little for me....
Definitely it was a great time, especially to see how excited they were to see us.

Baby shower # 1

The Presidency of the Relief Society from my old ward in Tampico, organized a Baby Shower the Tuesday after I got there. We played some games, had dinner and opened the presents the sisters brought to Joel. We are so happy to know that our baby is very love there as well.
