Mother's Day @ preschool

Joel had a special program on Mother's Day  and a tea party I couldn't attend because I had to rest, for sure next year I'll try to make it and enjoy it.
One of the sisters from church from the Spanish branch (we used to attend) has been helping us, and she has been taking Joel to preschool, and she took the place of grandma to go to Joel's preschool that day, I was so happy to see him singing and doing his part with the rest of the kids, because he's usually very shy when dad or mom are around.

Thank to Hna Juana Salcedo for your time and help
Some of my boys presents he made at preschool

Visit from uncle B

Having fun

Having a healthy snack

Playing musical chairs as the kids name this game where daddy plays music and they walk around tip music stops and then have to get a chair

Reading time!!!

Some times it seems more fun to play with boxes than with toys

Trying new things

Since I saw the idea of a rocket ship balloon thought it would be fun for the kids and it was for a very short time because I stick it with tape and felt down a lot and they were frustrated, so I changed to a different game/entertainment .

This was perfect for them and they had a great time, everybody was happy!

The next game we played was races with popcorn, it was fun to play and it them :)

This was our little snack, kids are very good eating fruits but this was fun to eat.

Picking fruit

On Saturday May 3rd in the morning we stop by this farm to pick some blackberries and peaches, we wanted the kids to have the experience in picking fruit and I'm glad found this place. They had a great time going into a new adventure.
I'm amazed of all of the fruit/vegetables that can be grown in this area, when we first move I just saw the desert and cactus not very exciting for personally but as we have stayed longer I have learned how many wonderful things we can grow here and feel so blessed, hope we can take advantage and do our own garden.

Little helpers

When the kids see us doing laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping or doing a project or if they spilt/ get something dirty usually are very willing to help, and are letting them do little things here and there so they get use to it and don't see it as a big / hard task to help at home, so far they are doing great!

David's birthday

Baby David born on Sunday 5/4 @ 6.12 am. His weight 7.5 lbs and height 22 1/2.

This pregnancy was a little different from his siblings that seem to be very easy, since I found out I was expecting I had lower back pain for around six months, then I got sick with something similar to the flu that I had to stay on bed for three days and lasted for almost two weeks ( I felt miserable ) thank God, antibiotics, and a priesthood blessing I recovered from it. Then the regular heartburn and nausea stay with me for the rest of pregnancy.
Through this pregnancy we had lots of things going on,  first, we felt Yuma was the place we should be for a while, so we were looking to buy a house; second, I had my interview (or test) to obtain the American citizenship, we had to go to Phoenix to do it , and we also stop by the open house for the Gilbert temple; third, paperwork for the house was done within a month, so we had to get things ready to move, and moved ( it was a lot of stress and work that I thought the baby will come earlier than expected), I relax for a little after we were settle in our new place.
Four,  got the appointment got the oat ceremony for the Citizenship , which was held at the Court house in Yuma, good thing we didn't have to drive again to Phoenix.
Then we had to get ready to welcome baby David, a month before he was month he wasn't in a position and I started to do some exercises to get him there, I have couple ultrasounds after that showed up that he was in position. The previous Sunday baby moved a lot for an hour that scared me and were almost ready to go to the hospital but then he calm down, but felt very uncomfortable the whole week. On Friday had my doctor appt and she told me anytime baby will be ready. It happened until Saturday night when I thought it was time to go to hospital, we got there and eventhough my water didn't break they said I was more than half way in the process, but when I was all ready they realized baby wasn't in the right position, baby moved and was transverse so I had to have a c-section, I was a little frustrated because we were ready for a normal delivery mentally and economically, we had to wait because the doctor in turn was having other c-sections meanwhile they got me ready for it.
Fortunately everything went well and baby got home, it was a special moment, although recovery is different I'm enjoying to snuggle with this little angel a lot.
