Diana's Birthday

We can believe our sweet little baby is now ONE year old, time really flew, she is a cute little girl that likes to follow her big brother and do the same things he does or at least try. Diana started walking at 10 months, she loves books, playing with cars (our fault because there are lots everywhere, we are trying to get more dolls), she also loves to be outside and play with dirt and water (mud), rocks, lemons, and swing and swing for a long time, she likes hymns and music, likes to jump with Joel in the bounce house. Doctor said she looks like an 18 month old but for me looks very petite, and she says Diana acts like an 18 month old, I might get that one, because she is very smart and try to do lots of things for her age.
We have been busy with work or church callings, meetings and assignments that we just planned to celebrate it on Monday during lunch time.

She started crying when we took away the plastic grapes... so we gave them back to her

Birthday Party for Joel

This year we decided to celebrate Joel's birthday and throw him a party where we could invite some dearly friends we don't get the chance to see very often. Because August is not a very good month to have a party outside because it's really hot over 110 degrees (unless if you have a pool it's fine) . We found a place where they have bounce houses and thought will be a good option, a friend of mine helped me to make some decorations and I wanted to make something with the marshmallows and got the cars idea.

Getting the candies from the pinata

Even though it was fun, Joel wasn't feeling very well, after we got home we found out he was getting sick, poor little one, not fun during his big day but he made it. We got lots of friends and enjoy seeing them again, and we are grateful for the presents they brought to Joel. He loved them all. Now he knows what a Birthday party means....loves the idea of pinata, cake, singing happy birthday, etc.

Daddy and son Birthday

I'll try to make a short version of what has been happening around here....The most important dates were celebrated and we are happy that we are able to express our love and how special everybody is in our family.
On August 16th, we have a small celebration for daddy and son. First for daddy we had a surprise lunch party with some friends from work, and then in the evening we spent time singing happy birthday and opening presents. Joel's birthday party was scheduled after uncle Steve was down here in Yuma.
