We had the opportunity to enjoy daddy's company this weekend.
We woke up placing some flags , in the afternoon we had some friends over for the big celebration... They swam for a little bit ( because a storm came and turned everything cloudy, windy and rainy, we even were out of power for couple hours with our friends, not fun no AC during summer time and guests, fortunately was cloudy), we had some hamburgers/hotdogs, watermelon , apple pie, vanilla ice cream and chocolate chip and snicker doodle cookies, we had a great time and kids too. (The bad thing is that I got distracted and didn't get pictures )
On Saturday July 5th we had kind of same menu, hamburgers/hotdogs
I finally could finish the cake I wanted to make for the 4th of July... On the 5th but it counts right?? ( it was made from scratch so we will see if it turn out ok, first time trying this recipe)
A miracle happen, all three kids took a nap after saying :'mommy we are not tired, we don't need a nap' ok kids just go and lie down and count some sheeps please!
I have to say thank you because if that nap I could work on some laundry
After nap was again swimming time... But not for too long because strange for Yuma but again suddenly everything was cloudy and windy.
Joel loves to flip around, he has been swimming without a jacket for over a month and Diana is trying too
They were very excited to celebrate this special day and hope we can make it more special as the years come so we can remember how is that we are so blessed living in a free country and what we need to do to respect and do our part so God keep blessing America.
Baby David was sleep
Kids like it, I guess it pass the test
Daddy wasn't feeling well and kids were taking care of him with some homemade soup.
